This policy describes how your personal information is collected, used and shared when you visit licawear.ca (the "Site") or make a purchase from it.

01 Information we collect

Device information. When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device: browser, IP address, time zone and some cookies. As you browse, we also collect the pages and products you view, the website or search that brought you to us, and how you interact with the Site. This information comes from the cookies, log files and pixels described below.

Order information. When you make or attempt to make a purchase, we collect your name, billing and shipping addresses, payment information (processed by our payment processor; we do not keep your full card number), email address and phone number.

In this policy, "personal information" refers to both categories.

02 Cookies

Here are the main cookies used by the Site. You can manage your preferences at any time through the consent banner or your browser settings.

The Site also uses log files, which record IP address, browser type, internet service provider, entry and exit pages and timestamps, as well as pixels and tags, which record how you browse the Site.

03 How we use your information

We use order information to process your purchases: payment, shipping, invoices and confirmations. We also use it to:

communicate with you about your order;
screen for fraud and potential risk;
send you information or offers about our products, when you have consented to it.

We use device information, in particular the IP address, to prevent fraud and to improve the Site: browsing analytics and measuring our advertising and marketing campaigns.

We may also use your information for marketing purposes if you have been a customer of a company affiliated with LICA Wear, such as LICA Masque.

04 Who we share your information with

We never sell your personal information. We share it only with the providers that help us use it for the purposes described above:

Shopify, which hosts our online store. See Shopify's privacy policy.
Google Analytics, to understand how our customers use the Site. See Google's privacy policy or opt out of Google Analytics.
Our shipping and payment partners, strictly as needed to fulfil your order.

We may also disclose your information when required by law: to respond to a subpoena, a warrant or any lawful request, or to protect our rights.

05 Targeted advertising

We use your information to show you ads or messages we think may interest you. To learn how targeted advertising works, see the Network Advertising Initiative page.

06 Do Not Track

We do not change the Site's data collection or use when we detect a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

07 Data retention

When you place an order, we keep your order information in our records unless and until you ask us to delete it, subject to legal retention obligations, including accounting and tax requirements.

08 Your rights

You may at any time ask to access the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected, withdraw your consent to its use or request its deletion. You can also unsubscribe from our marketing communications using the link in every email.

09 Security

The Site is hosted by Shopify and transactions are encrypted. Your payment information is handled by our payment processor and does not pass through our servers. We limit access to your information to the people who need it to serve you.

10 Changes

We may update this policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes in our practices or for legal or regulatory reasons. The current version is always posted on this page with its update date.

Fondatrice

L’entrepreneure Catherine Coreau a fondé LICA Wear en 2022, sa deuxième entreprise, avec une vision claire : offrir des sous-vêtements inclusifs qui allient simplicité, confort et élégance. Maman de deux jeunes garçons, elle s’inspire de son quotidien pour concilier travail, famille et engagement envers des causes qui lui tiennent à cœur, comme la Fondation CHU Sainte-Justine.

Catherine aspire à répondre aux besoins d’un large éventail de femmes, tant par ses créations que par ses pratiques d’emploi. Passionnée par les relations humaines, elle met un point d’honneur à offrir un service à la clientèle chaleureux et personnalisé. Avec LICA Wear, elle vous propose plus que des sous-vêtements : une invitation à vous sentir bien, chaque jour.
