3 reading recommendations on marketing

Since I studied science, I had my work cut out for me in terms of marketing knowledge to acquire. In my first company, I went more by feeling. In other words, I was doing just about anything. I had a product that was in high demand, so I had it a little easy on that front. On the other hand, I wanted to follow the rules of the art for this second company knowing all the more that the demand for the product was going to be very different.

A dear friend/marketing expert (let's call him Mr. Expert) recommended several books for me to read before launching my second business. I decided to share with you my 3 favorite books (sorry Mr. Expert - he asked me to keep these so-called marketing bibles secret).

PS: They are all in English - sorry in advance for that!

Launch by Jeff Walker

'' An Internet Millionaire's Secret Formula To Sell Almost Anything Online, Build A Business You Love, And Live The Life Of Your Dreams''

Having executed several online company launches, Walker shares in this book the winning formula for an effective and sustainable launch. This formula applies whether you are a product or service company. Have you already launched? This book is still valid for you. Walker's formula applies at any point in your journey. If you're starting to lose hope, I recommend this book. You might even want to go back into business a second time (or Xth time, it depends).

Building a StoryBrand by Donald Miller (SB7 framework)

'' Clarify Your Message So Customers Will Listen''

Miller presents here a way to properly engage your audience/customers in order to convert them into buyers and above all, to stand out from the competition. It presents 7 universal points that all humans respond to, allowing you to connect deeply with your audience. After each of the points presented, he even leaves you a “fill in the blank” to let you implement his ideas in your business. Once the book is finished, if you have followed the process carefully, you will understand how to convey your message in a clear and simplified way as well as the real reason why customers make a purchase.

Traffic Secret by Russell Brunson

'' The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers''

OK. We all believe that our product is the best on the market (me first - if you've tried it, you believe me) and that because your product is incredible, your company will work. My friend Mr. Expert X made me read this book to bring me back to earth, I think (he did well). Believe me, the most difficult thing is not to put the best product in the world on the market, but TO MAKE IT KNOWN (!!!)

This book is a bible in that sense. It teaches you how to define and find your niche and above all, how to bring it to you. If I ask you the question ''Who is your target customer?'' and you answer ''everyone'', read this book ASAP.

So ! Again, my apologies to Mr. Expert for revealing these marketing bibles and to all the others, it's a pleasure. Good reading !
