The high-waisted bikini: our new permanent style
The second launch on October 8 is different by nature: it isn't a seasonal color, but a new style joining the LICA Wear lineup for good. The high-waisted seamless bikini becomes the fifth style in the range, alongside the thong, the high-waisted thong, the Brazilian and the classic bikini briefs.
This style combines the generous coverage of the bikini briefs you already know from the collection with a high-waisted nylon and spandex band that rises over the lower tummy. No compression, no stiff elastic: the band wraps gently, just like on the high-waisted thong, but with the larger coverage of the bikini briefs in the front and back.
It's a cut that meets a very specific need: the security and comfort of full-coverage bikini briefs, plus the gentle support on the lower tummy that many women look for every day, especially after pregnancy, during their period, or simply because it's what feels best to them.
The high-waisted bikini launches in two shades. The La Marine high-waisted bikini, a limited edition like the rest of the collection. And the Noble Black high-waisted bikini, a permanent color that will stay in the lineup once La Marine sells out. Both are available from 2XS to 3XL.

What's the difference between the classic bikini briefs and the high-waisted bikini briefs?
The classic bikini briefs have a waistband that sits on the hips at a standard height. The high-waisted bikini briefs have the same coverage in the front and back, but the band rises higher over the lower tummy, like on the high-waisted thong. They offer gentle support in that area without squeezing, thanks to the 37% spandex nylon fabric that adapts to the body without stiffness. It's the ideal cut if you love the coverage of bikini briefs but also want that extra support on the lower tummy.
